Antique Original brass/bronze Ship Porthole with Glass Maritime Nautical

Up for auction is this original antique brass or maybe bronze ship porthole, There is a marking but I am not sure who the maker is or the time period, was told by the previous owner that it is a true antique, seems to be 2 thick layers of glass, as you can see from the pictures the top is broke, but the bottom layer seems to be fine from what I can see. the measurements are shown in the pictures.the porthole weighs 9 pounds.  Please view the photos for the best description.
