Built Moebius 1/8 EVA Pod with modifications. Paragrafix Photo Etch. Paragrafix Button Labels. Aftermarket display screens. I scratch-built a better (in my opinion) lighting system than the ones available. I used 12v rated flat top LED's because they are brighter and more reliable. Instead of batteries, I wired the lighting system to accept a 12V DC power adapter. No more changing batteries, and it works beautifully. The switch and the wiring look a little crude, but you can modify them any way you see fit. 68 LED's in all. I also modified the manipulator arms. The kit makes you choose between closed or open grabbers. I modified them to open or close. The "earmuffs" are removable to allow replacement of a burned out LED, should it occur. I am also including a few spare LED's in case one fails. I also used thicker lens on the headlights.Please note: This model is not perfect. I personally have never built a perfect model. There are a few very minute paint flaws that are really unnoticeable. This is a model that represents one of the coolest, most iconic space vehicles in movie history.
