Nautical Wilcox-Crittenden WC 10 Steel Porthole Two Brass Dogs Aluminum Steel

This beautiful aluminum-coated steel heavy duty antique nautical porthole with thick glass and two heavy brass dogs/wing nuts is in great condition! Beautifully weathered and still showing original patina. Measures about 15" overall across with an approx 10" window that opens and closes smoothly, approx 11" across the window including the solid steel housing, and approx 3" deep including the solid brass wing nuts. Solid brass hinge pins as well. There is one minor fisheye chip to the glass around the edge as shown in the photos, but the glass is still very sturdy and shows no signs of spreading. This piece could easily be put back into service on a ship again, or it would make an excellent piece of authentic nautical/maritime decor, and I have even seen people who have turned similar pieces into unique mirrors.
