This gun has been completely torn down, cleaned & replaced all the necessary spent components. Everything lubed, clean & sealed back up ready to be put into service either for the hobbyist or for industrial professional. This gun is suited for all aspects of refinishing process weather for sealer, basecoat or clear coat with the 1,4 nozzle size. Will spray solvent or waterbourne equally alike.
Breakdown of services & parts replaced below:
• Air Piston packing & spring (item 240 & 215806)
•micrometer locking pin (3624)
•air micrometer cleaned, seal replaced (3970) lubed & reinstalled
• fan control removed, cleaned seal replaced (3624) & reinstalled
• air piston cleaned & checked for functionality (packing 82636 in good condition, packing holder cleaned, sealed & reinstalled
•Air distribution ring replaced
• Air cap disassembled, cleaned new air cap seal installed (143834)
• needle packing service set 15438 replaced & adjusted
• needle cleaned, lubed & reinstalled. New needle spring installed item# 17897
•fresh generic battery install (for testing purposes only) I’d suggest purchasing the SATA battery kit for safety purposes battery kit is cheaper than a 0 digital replacement service
•New trigger pins circlips (3426)
•This gun functions like new... tested with air cap tester as seen in photos to ensure proper air pressure at air cap horns (10 psi)
•Comes with a 3M PPS 2.0 gun adapter
