Description

Here is a United States Maritime Service button. It dates 1938 to WWII. It was a Volunteer Organization used to train officers and crew members on Merchant Ships that formed the Merchant Marines. Heavly used during WWII and now is largely dissolved but the administrators and instructors teach at the Maritime Academy now.
From a Museum Collection in Gettysburg, PA. Ready for your collection. In used conditon but still a very nice piece for any collection. Look at the pictures.
