Here’s a heavily used but still awesome piece of the AW puzzle, from around 1996. The logo is part of a survivalist graphics series which had the predate of 2001 included on some of the designs, which can be confusing so many years later, but I was there in real time as an authorized dealer (which is why this wallet never saw the retail floor) and can confirm such. I suppose those items are sometimes sold as 2001 product when they are actually quite older, so it goes. I cannot recall ever again seeing leather AW wallets offered for sale anywhere. Wallet has not been used in over 20 years. Real leather outer, with similar Velcro closure to their nylon wallets. Gas Mask emblem is a sewed-on plastic patch! The heaviest flaw is the missing zipper on the inside coin pouch. It is unfortunate but what was done was done. There are other pictured flaws as well as general wear from use. The main Velcro will always work, as far as use is concerned. One of the best wallets I ever owned; I distinctly remember stopping use to preserve it for the future. Now the time has finally come for it to enter a larger collection. Or maybe you don’t collect anything and want a functional showpiece of a billfold. Sovereign SECT!
