    Description

You are bidding on a vintage matchbook from the Derby restaurant in Arcadia, California. The matchbox measures 4 1/4" by 3 1/2" and has the horse race winners from 1935-1947 on the individual matches. This even includes the great Seabiscuit in 1940 rode by Joe Pollard. The cover reads: Three Blocks East of Santa Anita, The Derby, 233 East Huntington Drive, Arcadia Calif., Atwater 7-2430.  The back features the portrait of jockey George Woolf, founder 1938. The matchbook is in good condition for its age, but does show signs of wear. Buyer pays shipping anywhere in the US.
